If you, like me, have a fairly new DS Lite, you’re probably also running into all kinds of problems with homebrew applications that use WiFi. After much frustration, I finally tracked down the problem to the fact that my DS was too new and the DSWifi libraries only supported it properly as of version 0.3d, which was released at the end of January, 2007. Understandably, not many homebrew apps have the new libraries compiled into them, and there was little to no hope for some apps ever getting them as development had stopped.
I decided to take matters into my own hands and start compiling the new DSWifi library into apps that needed it. This is essentially the reason that I created this blog, but hopefully it’ll branch out into other DS-related topics as I run into more roadblocks and overcome them.
Stay tuned =)
